  • How do you get to Morocco?

    By car: It is possible to get to Morocco by car via Spain, by going to Malaga or Algesiras and then crossing by car ferry to Tangier.

    The official language is Arabic, but French is spoken in the north of the Kingdom, as is English and Spanish.

    Tourists should be guided by respect for customs and a spirit of tolerance when they are in Morocco.

  • Passports and visas

    For citizens of the European Union: a valid passport for individual, non-package travel or a national identity card (valid for anyone traveling on an organized package tour - with a hotel reservation voucher issued by a travel agency). A visa is required for certain nationalities. Please note that unlike Europeans, UK citizens do not have national ID cards. Therefore, they need a passport to enter Morocco.
